Cash price per wattโ€”

Financing markupโ€”
Total scheduled paymentsโ€”

The checker will identify missing figures and questions to ask.

What this checker can identify

The tool calculates cash price per watt, annual production per installed kW, the difference between cash and financed price, and total scheduled loan payments. These figures make unlike proposals easier to compare.

What it cannot verify

An online checker cannot inspect your roof, confirm shade, validate contractor licenses, read every contract clause, or guarantee production and savings. Use the results to ask better questions before signing.

Get important promises in writing

The final contract should identify equipment models, system size, annual production assumptions, cash price, financed amount, APR, term, dealer fees, roof work, warranties, responsible installer, cancellation rights, and utility approval responsibilities.

Common questions

Questions to answer before moving forward

Does Tower receive the proposal numbers I enter?

No. This checker runs in your browser and does not submit the entries to Tower Solar.

Is a low monthly payment proof of a good deal?

No. A longer term or higher financed principal can reduce the payment while increasing total cost.

What price per watt is automatically fair?

There is no universal fair number. Equipment, roof work, battery scope, electrical upgrades, market conditions, and installer quality affect price. Compare equivalent scopes and obtain multiple written offers.
