Before comparing proposals
Put every proposal on the same basis: system size in kW, annual kWh estimate, exact panel and inverter models, cash price, financed amount, term, APR, dealer fees, roof work, battery scope, and warranties.
Use Tower’s calculator for a preliminary system and price benchmark, then compare it with the actual proposal. The goal is not to push the biggest array. It is to identify a defensible system, transparent price, and qualified local fulfillment partner.
Estimate my homePut every proposal on the same basis: system size in kW, annual kWh estimate, exact panel and inverter models, cash price, financed amount, term, APR, dealer fees, roof work, battery scope, and warranties.
Ask who holds the permit, who performs the installation, how wind loading is documented, and who is responsible for roof leaks or panel removal. A satellite image can begin the conversation; it cannot confirm structural condition.
Do not accept a vague claim that the utility bill will disappear. Grid charges, minimum charges, usage changes, equipment performance, and current utility rules can leave a remaining balance. Request the production model and utility assumptions in writing.
Tower provides preliminary education, estimate tools, quote comparison, and project support. Installation and final design are performed under a separate agreement by the selected qualified contractor.
